Racing Rules

Our rules are more SPRINT oriented than the ENDURANCE style of the commercial tracks.

Ten laps with no holds barred! If you crash, YOU ARE OUT. The remaining cars line back up for a restart and run the remaining laps. A restart has a minimum of 2 laps. IMPORTANT: If a crash occurs on the last lap, the race is run to the end.

You race 3 races in each lane(4) & then you wait (very little) until your name is up again. We go through a minimum of 2 times in a night.

The main advantage of this format is that NO CORNER MARSHAL'S affect the outcome of the race (accidentally knocking off other cars), and that the tracks can be much more complex since there is no corner marshal's spaces needed.

The racing is much more intense! Check it out, we think you will agree. These rules were created about 18 years ago & have been in successful use ever since in one class or another.


Car Setup Rules

We use stock AFX Super G Plus or Tyco 440X2 cars with a few exceptions.

Lexan Bodies
O Ring or Independent Front Axle - # 315 or # HT201
AFX or Tyco Rear Axle - replace spacer on axle with delrin
Double Flanged Rear Rims - # HT260 (SG) - # HT258 (TY)
Silicone Rear Tires - grinding allowed - # 0785, #0022 (AJ's)
- or any common locally available $2.00/pair tires.
BSRT guide pin - stock or # HT167
Flat pick up shoes - bending allowed - # 245
Mods to busses & springs - No plating
Mods to spacers, washers - (.003 to .015 avail.) - bushings - (stock or # HT082)
Mods to end bell - bend com arms & clearance for p/u shoes - (A)
Clean up ridge at rear of trac. mags - (B)
Clean up rear axle holes - (C)
Clean up bottom of chassis - (D)
