How points are scored

On each race night, drivers collect points for both position and fast times. For each individual race, the winner gets 4 points, 2nd place gets 3pts, 3rd gets 2pts and 4th gets 1 pt.

Before changing lanes, the fastest time in the lane is recorded for each driver.

When every driver completes 3 races in each of the 4 lanes on the track, Round One is over and we do it all over a second time - Round Two.

At the end of the night, the position points are added up for each driver. Max possible points is 96 (4 points x 3 races x 4 lanes x 2 rounds) The driver with the most points takes a 10 overall for Position The driver with the 2nd most points takes a 9 overall for Position ...and so on.

The Driver with the fastest time of the night (regardless of the lane) takes a 10 overall for Time. The Driver with the 2nd fastest time of the night takes a 9 overall for Time. ...and so on

The two overall scores (Position and Time) are then added togeter to get the points for that week of the series. The points series consists of 9 weeks but only the best 6 scores for each driver are counted. This allows people to miss some nights and still be in the running.
