I went to do some drills today with my new gear and phantom setup. What I think it is- body and bolt are not making a good enough seal ?

What im running is 12 grams copperhead and I have an old brass eagle bucket changer that make a pretty decent puncture hole and my phantom isnt new but its been around for a few years now running off a RF breech. I have a 6" barrel if that matters at all And the temp today was mild on the colder side maybe 14 above.

Now yesterday night( March 10th) I was airing this up and I do not remember hearing a leak but I was shooting from inside to outside and it was a bit loud so i had ear plugs in hahaha. Today when I went out I aired it up and right away I got a hiss out the barrel. I then took it apart after using up the 12 and cleaned it up re oiled even cleaned out the bucket changer. Re gassed and I got the same thing, I had the pump spring off at the time so I was moving the bolt back and fourth.

Forward it was not as bad but all the way back it was worse at one point I also pointed the gun down and it seemed to leak faster. Really not sure what this could be other then what i mentioned above. Also is it normal for the valve train to move a bit back and fourth maybe a few cm sounded a bit loose to me.

That would be my guess too.

Take the valve out and open it up. Make sure that the cup seal is screwed tight to the power tube and that no dirt is on the seal. Check that the o-ring on the retainer is in good condition. That should solve the leak if they are still in good condition.
