hey everyone,

i just bought a phantom and it will not pump. Seems like the pump arm will not go back far enough to engage the sear

Have you made sure the pump arm is in the bolt hole and the TPC adjustment hole? That's a stupid mistake I made when I was sleepy. Could also be the pump. What kind are you using? The stock one?

If it won't pump without being aired up, that's normal.  For most Phantoms, you need pressure against the valve in order for the hammer to engage the sear.

Yes. Any propellant will work with a phantom(well, paintball propellant at least{so no canned up farts!})

^What KilledCookie said.

And I think I misspoke - the sear on the hammer should engage the bolt, or some such.  But you still need pressure against the valve for that to happen, in most cases.

You mean, how can you go about doing it? It depends on how much you want to spend, and what you have now. If you have an SC set-up, you can buy an adapter(custom or PMP adapter),wait for super_stanchy to finish his adapter for ego necks, or make one out of a spyder feedneck(search function). You can also just buy a vertical feed body from Mike, but it won't clamp.

Didn't hear anything bad, and looks pretty nice. Price is a bit high though. But really, go whichever way you want. I'm not getting one of those, since they don't seem to come in clear ano.
