I've been recently thinking about switching back to co2. The reason is our local field rarely supports HP over 2k psi and if it does, it lasts for first 4 people with their 48-68ci tanks.
It really pisses me off to have to fill my 13ci every 2 games while beeing able to shoot under 100  shots per fill. Sometimes I use my 45/45 tank but that's not what i would call handy.
I'd go with 12grams, but these suckers are pricey (i play with modified SC right now)
I've been considering getting a 6-10kg co2 tank and a 3,5oz or 35 gram tiny-bottle from rap4. This should last us for a whole season.
My phantom is a VSC so liquid co2 should not be a problem.
tell me fellow phoggers, amidoingitrite?

If your limited at co2 then go with the co2 3.5 tanks maybe two of em. I don't know how much you shoot but if you thinks that might be an issue then try to cut down there.

I love using 3.5oz tanks.  Depending on time of year and weather 250-300 per fill (also depends on the quality of the fill)

If you have a little extra money upfront.  What you might want to do is buy a case of 450 12ies from Leland, just remember to order them on the phone not online.  The wife and I did that and it's about .20-.30 each or just about $150 total shipped to our door. You can estimate shipping coses on a 48lb box.

I love my 2 3.5s IF I can get a good fill I was just at the camp blanding mount sight game and I got 4 garbige fills 2 of them only gave me 20 to 30 good shot befor I had to walk off the fill to get them filed again i had to have my tanks filed 5 times total and only 1 fill was worth playing with

I have a team mate that runs a 9oz and a 12oz with a teniss ball on the bace back botle stile and uses the tank s a stock works frate for him

u get more shots per volume on CO2 and the sound signiture of CO2 is also notisably quieter then air

All good ideas.
I'm totally 100% with my buddy greenmountain on the 12g's from Leland. When you buy a case of 450 from them over the phone for no more than $155, each twelvee ends up running $0.27, which for me, makes it cheaper than going to my local pro shop. At a field, the air is usually included into admission, so there's no problem there.
But we play a lot of outlaw ball, and for that reason, I'm picking up one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/10-lb-Co2-Tank-Keg-Beer-Tap-Kegerator-Taps-Aquarium_W0QQitemZ360240474236QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item53e001687c
Side note: I like those 45g bottles from RAP4. Off a bottom line, these double as a nice stock.

Youy can get a standard 50BL CO2 bottle on lease from Air Gas, I think the lease on the tank runs about 30 to 40$ a year , and then its around 24$ to fill the bottle.  Then all you will need is a scale and fill station and your all set.

Renting atank is cheaper then buying one, since you probaly wont fill the tank more then 2 times a year.

greenmtn: Why do you say to order the 450 12 grams over the phone and not online?

You normally get a cheaper price through the phone.
