The Python compression Phantom kit? I ak because I'm tired of double feeds and rollouts, and the detent rings arent doing it anymore.

Thought about the ASP mod? I have it mine, and I love it. It's good enough that if I pump the gun and take out the barrel, the tiny field paint won't come out regardless how much I shake or tap it. Cheaper than the Python kit, too.

Like they said, around two weeks. All you need to do is send in your body. I would suggest contacting Have Blue on this forum, he's the one who does it, and he'll be able to best answer your questions about it.

A better option: get your Phantom barrel bored for Freak-compatible inserts.

Palmer Pursuit Shop now makes Freak-compatible inserts out of brass and TyMcneer on M.CB is making even smaller ones (0.675 and 0.680).

A Freak compatible barrel won't require you to modify your marker body either.

Only issue with doing Freak insert boring (which I'll probably offer as well, once I get the RPC for the lathe all completed) is that it won't prevent double feeds.  The detent mod uses 2 o-rings - the one at the front is to prevent rollouts, while the one at the back prevents double feeds (won't let a ball into the breech 'ring' until the bolt actually pushes it in).

Thanks for the heads-up on brass inserts, though - I had been pondering doing my own for a very long time, but I'm even happier that someone else has picked up the slack!  My Redux deserves a brass lining, not that SP *spit* silliness...

Can't go wrong with the ASP detent mod.  I picked up a right offset feed with it from Have Blue and it works like a charm.  Honestly,  I'm contemplating selling my Freak bored barrel and inserts now that I have it.
