Wait, I'm not very knowledgeable in the AGG arts, so does the ego feedneck use the same threading as a CCM?

Everythin Else=Threaded

ego's us an oring (or on newer models a lip protruding) that will grab the feedneck and keep it in place, then you tighten the screw and your golden

They are essentially double clamping feednecks.

i got some aluminum stock friday at the end of work (scrap bin divin!)

so hopefully i can get a nice aluminum one done asap:)

ive decided against the oring groove, and will do a small shoulder/edge like the newer egos (cheaper/easier to do)

That's a big problem. Stupid AGG driving up feedneck costs. A good thing to do may be to look for the stock feednecks, but that is kind of hard because even their own store doesn't stock them.

I found these, which are apparently the stock necks. Maybe Eclipse will sell them direct for even less. I think I shall contact them now.

They just got back, and it will be $31 each. Still too much. I think that's why they use CCM necks.

They will be a full radius on the side (completely round)
Aluminum
No oring groove
Annod Gloss Black or Clear
